For the fourth year annually, NEMIC's highly anticipated Med Tech Leadership Program is about to begin!

The Med Tech Leadership Program is a rich education program developed and run by the experts at the NEMIC Foundation, based on in-depth research and combined decades of professional experience in the Med Tech industry.

The program begins by going over the basics and trends of the Med Tech industry, before delving deep into the process of turning an idea into a product ready for market. This is done through over 55 hours of seminars led by real industry professionals, hands-on workshops, and 1 on 1 advisory hours. No other program offers this holistic view of regulated medical technology development, best commercialization practices, and business leadership strategies for regulated medical technologies.

The Med Tech Leadership Program curriculum was designed based on firsthand research and interviews with industry professionals, CEOs, venture capitalists, angel investors, and seasoned Med Tech entrepreneurs. The goal was to provide aspiring entrepreneurs and Med Tech professionals with the complete picture of how to bring a regulated medical device or digital health product to market and to avoid the common pitfalls in commercialization.

Each class covers a topic like Commercial Viability, Regulatory Affairs, Pricing Strategy, Financial Acumen, or Pitching a Company 101, to name just a few. Participants will gain access to NEMIC's Pitch Deck Template too; our tool to lead business plan development and translate medical technologies into a strong investor pitch deck.

Applications to the 2022-23 Med Tech Leadership Program are now open!

This program is so popular that we often have a waitlist, so don't wait to sign up!

The NEMIC Foundation is able to offer this program free of charge to Rhode Island residents, students, and employees through a partnership with the Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training.
