Our History
Where We Began
Following decades of professional industry experience, NEMIC was established in 2017 by serial entrepreneurs Lydia Shin Schroter and Aidan Petrie. After spending entire careers in the financial and medical technology sectors, respectively, it was evident that a glaring need existed in the development space to better guide entrepreneurs in order to achieve success.
NEMIC was founded to serve this need.
Expanding Our Services
In 2019, NEMIC launched what would become our signature programs, including the Med Tech Leadership Program, NEMIC Accelerator, and Softball Pitch Events. This was when the organization truly began putting itself on the map, establishing NEMIC as a regional hub for Med and HealthTech.
