Announcing the 2022-23 ACTIVATE Cohort

After much deliberation and consideration, the cohort for the NEMIC Foundation's 2022-23 Activate Program has been selected!

While applications were only open for a brief amount of time, we were overwhelmed with both the quantity and quality of startup applicants interested in participating in this accelerator.

Activate is a seed funding preparation program for technically viable and nearly investable startups, run in partnership with Rhode Island Commerce for the second year. The accepted early-stage, regulated Med Tech and Digital Health startups will receive education and support from our network of industry advisors, networking opportunities, and up to $20,000 in funds to fill identified business plan gaps to prepare for a successful first round of funding, among much more.

The selected startups and entrepreneurs that will be participating in Activate this year are:

1. Adelle Diagnostics

Maria Grazia Ruocco

2. Bak and Mermel

Leonard Mermel

3. Carecoach

Eric Jutkowitz

4. Circadian Positioning System (CPS)

Eliza Van Reen

5. SOMA

Frederike Petzschner

6. StatusPost

Anshul Parulkar

Congratulations to the accepted entrepreneurs👏

Program activities will be kicking off shortly-- and we can't wait!
