401Gives and the NEMIC Foundation

401Gives 2022 will be the third year that Rhode Island shows its love for the nonprofit community. The community that helps thousands of people each and every day - whether it's through basic needs, environmental causes, education, the arts and so much more.

Last year over 12,000 donors helped raise $2.29M for 422 nonprofits, including the NEMIC Foundation. Please be a part of this year's Rhode Island day of giving - an opportunity to unite our community around causes in which we truly believe and help nonprofit organizations connect to the larger community.

The world needs innovation in healthcare

When you donate to the Foundation for the New England Medical Innovation Center, you support innovators and entrepreneurs in Med Tech.

Ultimately, we help usher technologies to market so that they achieve their visions; which include advancing the patient and caregiver experience, creating more environmentally sustainable solutions, improving outcomes, mitigating risks, reducing costs, and much more.

Stand with us as we expedite the developmental process for all, so disruptive ideas can realize commercial success and provide value to the patients they strive to serve. Together, we can streamline the healthcare system to make life better for everyone.

Donations support:

  • The discovery and cultivation of local technologies in the healthcare sector.

  • Tuition-free, industry-specific education for Rhode Islanders through our Med Tech Leadership Program: a unique and invaluable opportunity for entrepreneurs and those interested in the Med Tech industry.

  • Our Business Accelerator Program: focused on advancing mental health, equity, and telehealth solutions for this new era of healthcare.

  • NEMIC Foundation Events: such as pitch contests and Hackathons that encourage innovation and breed game-changing ideas.

  • The facilitation and support of technologies and solutions in the healthcare industry led by underrepresented entrepreneurs.
