4 Startups Accepted into Activate - Apply to this Seed Funding Preparation Program Now!

Through Activate, Rhode Island based startups (or startups planning to locate to RI) can apply to be awarded professional services valued between $20,000-$37,000 to fill gaps in their business plan in preparation for successful fundraising.

Services include but are not limited to, market sizing and research, competitive landscaping, clinical needs assessments, IP and regulatory pathway planning, and business and financing acumen, which will be provided by industry experts and 3rd party organizations or consultants. Once accepted, Activate Fellows work with NEMIC’s team to best create a program to support the goals of their startups and next milestones.

ResusciTech aims to give everyone the confidence and capability to perform CPR anywhere and take action during emergencies through a CPR feedback app.


Lenoss Medical

Lenoss Medical is a medical device start-up with an innovative, biological allograft implant technology for the treatment of spinal vertebral body compression fractures. LENOSS MEDICAL’S biological implant and instrumentation system eliminates the current surgical cement leakage risks, reduces handling steps by 70% and promotes natural healing of the fractured bone.


Mighty Well

The mission of Mighty Well is to help patients and their caregivers turn sickness into strength. We are leading the global charge that changes the perception of patients from victims to fighters.

We do this by improving the experience of being a patient. We create the products we wish we’d had: functional and stylish apparel and accessories that you can wear with confidence - and content that can help you get through the good times and the bad.


Trimaran Innovations

A medical device and APP start up for the rapid accurate transmission of electrophysiological data using long and short wave radio for the purposes of cutting the door to balloon time of the current standard.
